The V Love Foundation exists to create meaningful pathways to opportunity, stability, wellness, and generational growth. Our work is rooted in the belief that communities are strengthened when people are not only supported in the moment, but also connected to the resources, relationships, education, and opportunities that help them move forward. We serve with purpose across education, family support, health and wellness, community outreach, economic empowerment, and youth development. Through school partnerships, Love Day, Nurture’s Nest, the Bold Futures Scholarship Fund, Victoria’s Boutique, and Generational Change Makers, we are building an ecosystem of support designed to meet people where they are while helping create stronger possibilities for where they can go.
At the heart of our mission is the belief that love and impact must be connected.
To us, Bold Love means showing up with compassion, dignity, courage, and consistency. It means seeing the whole person, honoring their humanity, and believing that people should never be defined only by hardship, circumstance, or past choices. Real Impact is what happens when that love is put into action. It is a student gaining access to higher education. It is a young parent receiving guidance and support. It is a family learning about financial literacy and homeownership. It is an individual being connected to mental-health or recovery resources. It is a small business gaining visibility. It is a young person meeting a mentor who helps them see a future they had not imagined before.
We believe love opens the door, but access, opportunity, education, and connection help people walk through it.
That is why our work goes beyond giving back. We are focused on pouring into people, strengthening families, building partnerships, creating access, and investing in future generations.
The V Love Foundation is committed to building a community where people are seen, supported, connected, and empowered to create lasting change in their lives and in the lives of those who come after them. Generational Change Makers represents that philosophy in perhaps its clearest form. We want young people to understand that their current circumstances do not have to determine their future. We also want them to understand that growth often requires choices, discipline, education, accountability, and the willingness to imagine something different. Our goal is not simply to rescue people from difficult moments. Our goal is to help create environments where people are empowered to build different outcomes. That is the connection between spirit and mind. The spirit reminds us that every person deserves compassion, dignity, hope, and love. The mind challenges us to learn, make decisions, develop discipline, pursue opportunity, and take responsibility for what comes next. When the two work together, transformation becomes possible. That is what we mean when we say:

Our Story
The V Love Foundation was created from a belief that love should do more than comfort people — it should move them toward possibility. Inspired by the life and legacy of Victoria “Kizzy” Augustine and the example of community service modeled by Valena “Teedy” Marshall, The V Love Foundation was built to connect compassion with action.
Victoria’s life reminds us of the importance of dignity, understanding, education, and support. Valena’s life demonstrated what it means to serve with consistency, faith, and love for community. Those values became the foundation for the work we do today.
What began as a desire to honor their legacies has grown into a broader mission to strengthen families, support students, expand access to opportunity, promote health and wellness, encourage economic mobility, and invest in future generations. We believe meaningful community impact requires more than responding to immediate needs. It requires relationships, education, access, collaboration, and people and organizations willing to work together toward something greater. That belief is reflected throughout our initiatives, including Victoria’s Boutique, Nurture’s Nest, Love Day, school partnerships, the Bold Futures Scholarship Fund, and Generational Change Makers.
Our work brings together families, nonprofit organizations, educators, healthcare professionals, businesses, community leaders, and resource providers to create a stronger network of support. We are building more than programs. We are building an ecosystem where people can connect to the resources, knowledge, relationships, and opportunities that help create long-term stability and growth.
That is what we mean by Bold Love. Real Impact. Bold Love is the courage to show up for people with dignity, compassion, honesty, and consistency. Real Impact is what happens when that love becomes education, resources, opportunity, connection, and meaningful action.
Love is at the heart of what we do. Impact is how we make that love visible.
Our story continues every time a family is supported, a student sees a new possibility, a young parent receives guidance, a business gains an opportunity, or a community connection is created.

Meet The Founder

Founder & Executive Director
The V Love Foundation is deeply personal to me because it was shaped by the people, lessons, losses, and life experiences that taught me what love in action really means. I have not lived a perfect life, and I do not believe impact is born from perfection. Some of the challenges I faced were circumstances I did not choose. Others were the result of decisions I had to take responsibility for. I became a teen mother. I delayed pursuing higher education. There were seasons when fear, procrastination, and the difficulty of life became reasons I used to justify standing still. Growth required me to be honest with myself. I had to learn that grace and accountability can exist at the same time. I could have compassion for where I had been while still accepting responsibility for where I wanted to go next. That understanding shaped the way I serve today.
Two women had a profound influence on the heart behind The V Love Foundation. Victoria “Kizzy” Augustine reminds me of the importance of compassion, dignity, education, and support. My great aunt, Valena “Teedy” Marshall, taught me what community love looks like in practice. She was the sunshine of my earthly life and the person who showed me how to cover people, serve faithfully, and show up when love felt distant. As a First Lady, missionary, and member of the Eastern Star, "Teedy "modeled a life of service that reached far beyond her own household. Long before I understood that I would one day lead a nonprofit organization, I was watching her demonstrate the values that would become central to this work. Those experiences are part of why I believe love and impact must be connected.
Love alone can comfort a person. But when love is paired with education, resources, opportunity, accountability, and access, it has the power to change direction. That is what Bold Love. Real Impact. means to me.
Bold Love is having the courage to show up for people with compassion, honesty, dignity, and consistency.
Real Impact is turning that love into action that helps people move forward. Through The V Love Foundation, I want to help build the kind of community where people are not simply handed temporary assistance, but are connected to the tools, relationships, and opportunities that can help them create stronger futures.
That vision is reflected in our work through family support, school partnerships, health and wellness, scholarships, entrepreneurship, community service, and initiatives such as Generational Change Makers.
For me, this work is about more than giving back. It is about pouring in. It is about helping people see that their current circumstances do not have to define their future. It is about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, challenged, and empowered to make bold moves of their own. My journey has taught me that transformation begins when the spirit is encouraged, the mind is equipped, and opportunity is placed within reach. That is the heart behind my leadership. That is the heart behind The V Love Foundation. Bold Love. Real Impact.
